School Admissions

If you are considering applying for a place for your child, we would strongly encourage you to get in touch and arrange to visit the school before making your application. 

The admissions criteria can be found below. If your child is already enrolled in a school then you will need to apply directly to the school using the In-Year Application form, also found below.

Your child can join our Foundation 1 (F1) Class after their 4th birthday. Please find further details of our F1 offer in the attachment below.

Introduction

Minster Trust for Education (MITRE) acts as the admissions authority for all its member schools.

All MITRE schools follow the Nottinghamshire County Council Co-ordinated Admissions Scheme for applications for intake at the "normal time" (starting primary school, moving to junior school, starting secondary school). For further information about the scheme and how to apply follow this link :

Admissions Consultation

Bleasby CofE Primary School proposed school admission arrangements for the 2027-28 school year.

From Monday 22nd December 2025 – Saturday 31st January 2026 Bleasby CofE Primary School is consulting on its admission arrangements.

This consultation is required in line with the School Admissions Code 2021, which states that admission authorities must consult on their admission arrangements at least once every 7 years, even if there have been no changes during that period. The school is going out to consultation in order to be compliant with this requirement in the Admissions Code 2021. The school’s admission arrangements are unchanged from 2026-27.

Who do we consult with?

  • Parents of children between the ages of two and eighteen.
  • Other people in the area who may have an interest in the proposed admissions arrangements.
  • All other admissions authorities within the relevant area.
  • Nottinghamshire County Council.
  • Diocese of Southwell & Nottingham.
  • Neighbouring Local Authorities.

This consultation invites you to give your views about Bleasby CofE Primary School proposed admission arrangements for 2027-28.  You can respond to this consultation before the closing date of 31st January 2026 5.00pm in one of the following ways - 

  •  Submit an online response form using the QR code below: 

 

  • Complete a hard copy response form, available from the school office.

In-Year Applications

All MITRE schools administer their own in-year admissions by direct application. Please use the form below to make an application and return the form to the school. The outcome of your application will be sent in writing within 15 school days.
